Footstep Dance
On Thursday we had the pleasure of hanging Footstep Dance come into our school. She taught us a cool new dance which the students got fully engaged in.
Pop Corn Writing
On Thursday 2nd March we used Popcorn as a prompt for our writing! The students enjoyed being able to feel and smell the Popcorn to inspire some amazing 'Wow' Words (descriptive words). It was fantastic to see such amazing writing from the students. Here is a video of us Popping like Popcorn in a microwave.
Music Lesson
In Music we have been learning how to sing a range of songs. Some of these songs being: In the Jungle, There was a farmer, How far I'll Go (Moana) as well as some Samoan songs. We have loved singing with Ese on Wednesdays. We look forward to learning some more songs.

Topic: Beautifying Our Environment
In class we have been working in groups to design an object to help beautify our outside environment. This has been teaching us the skills of reciprocal writing and group work. We spilt into our objects being: Minion Flower pots, Rainbow logs and Recycled Bottle plants. In our groups we created a storyboard identifying the process of making these. We will be later creating these ideas to place outside our Studio.
Here are pictures of the objects we plan to make:
